Powerful perspective Jack! I am a filmmaker and have come to similar conclusions within my work. I even made a piece titled “consumed” about this very topic a while back. Would love to share it with you sometime!
Cheers to fighting the good fight. Storytelling will continue to shape our world but in this age the discipline we exercise in our consumption will determine the health of our lives.
Good post, Jack. According to my (c)1989 MGWebster pocket dictionary: technology - the application of science to a practical purpose. We moved slowly for a long time and then hit the ramp of complexity in our tech with carbon energy beginning in the early 19th century. Maybe we evolved to keep up with our tech until then, but we certainly have not evolved to adapt to the changes in the last 200 years. I often ask myself if our carbon-fueled "technology" is really helping us practically. In my lifetime alone, the human population has doubled and the wild mammal mass cut by more than half. I guess it depends on how you measure how homo sapiens are doing.

Thanks Thomas! Would love to see that film
I’ll send it over!
Awesome stuff, Jack. Think you’re looking at this next adventure perfectly. Excited to see where it goes (and truly appreciate the shout!)!
Thanks, Lou!
